The Long Story
Turning Lemons Into Lemonade
Julie frequently tells her audiences that her knowledge was gained in 2 ways – first by working with some tremendously successful chiropractors and practice management experts, and second, by working in a few really dreadful practices. And that’s exactly how she met her partners, Phoebe and Will Ezell…
It was 2006. Julie was offered an opportunity to work for 2 Chiropractors (Partners – “Dr. Tyler and Dr. Thomas” – names changed to protect the “innocent”). It was in total chaos. Patient charts were a nightmare. Billing was a huge mess, the front desk team was a train wreck and patients were literally walking out after unnecessarily long wait times…
Julie was initially hired to “lead the team and take the practice to the next level”. Julie’s experience and credentials proved that she’d produced results in other practices, taking those dreadful ones and turning them into successful practices, QUICKLY.
Julie immediately did what she does best – and jumped into ACTION. Within 4 weeks, she’d systemized all procedures and the gears were beginning to mesh. The practice was already growing, but – there was one deadly ingredient. No matter how hard she tried her systems were continuously being undermined and dismantled by the Doctors who hired her in the first place.
A successful practice starts at the top. If there is no leadership, or worse yet, a whirling hurricane that blows everyone off course, there can be no success. Even when the best Team is in place, the doctor has to be the leader. ‘Cause you know how “stuff” runs downhill…
Yet, there was one very strong and hopeful holdout…
Julie met Will and Phoebe Ezell. They were providing consulting services to Dr. Tyler who owned an anti-aging practice. Julie kept hearing Dr. Tyler rave about his consultants who had successfully prevented the anti-aging practice from failing, and implemented patient attraction systems and multiple profit channels…
Day 1 – DISCOVERY and SYNERGY!

The discussions began… And 6 weeks later, we signed our partnership documents. Endless Patient Referrals was born to build and grow chiropractic!
